How it plays

There is a big red button on the machine, and it presses itself. The press is deterministic — the symbol it lands on decides what happens, so each one reads as cause and effect rather than a bonus firing at random. Three, four or five Buttons open Panic, Lockdown or Meltdown. The Reactor runs underneath all of it: presses and locked cells charge the meter, and filling it escalates whatever mode you are in straight into Meltdown, where the grid keeps clearing and refilling while the wins keep coming. Every mode climbs toward the same ending instead of being its own separate feature.
